Windhoek, 27 January 2025 – Telecom Namibia is pleased to confirm that connection to the satellite feed, enabling SATLINK services on its VSAT platform has been fully restored as from 19 January 2025. The company and its international partners explored various options over the past 3 months to restore services following an incident on 19 October 2024, which impacted the IS 33e satellite and disrupted service to all SATLINK customers connected to the Telecom Namibia VSAT network.
Telecom Namibia is proud to have contributed to the success of Shalom Education Centre's recent preschool award ceremony in Okahandja. The event honored nine talented preschool children and three dedicated teachers from local schools, recognizing their hard work and dedication.
