Windhoek, Namibia – 4 August 2025 – Telecom Namibia today marked its 33rd anniversary with a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony at its head office in Windhoek. Held under the theme “Come Run With Us @ 33,” the celebration reflected a spirit of unity, growth, and shared purpose. Commemorative events are set to continue throughout the week across all regional offices.

At the Windhoek ceremony, Telecom Namibia’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Stanley Shanapinda, addressed employees, highlighting the company’s milestones and ongoing transformation. He commended staff for their continued dedication and teamwork and expressed enthusiasm about several strategic projects set to go live soon, which are designed to address key challenges and enhance service delivery.

The anniversary celebrations officially kicked off on 31 July with a meaningful outreach to the Katutura Old Age Home. This act of giving underscored Telecom Namibia’s enduring commitment to social responsibility and community upliftment—emphasizing that the company’s mission extends beyond connectivity to building lasting, intergenerational relationships.

Additional activities are lined up in the coming weeks as part of the anniversary campaign, offering staff, stakeholders, and communities across Namibia the opportunity to engage, celebrate, and reflect on the shared journey and future of Telecom Namibia.
