Windhoek, 12 August 2024 – Telecom Namibia proudly announces the successful certification of 19 Technical Assistants (TAs) and Senior Technical Assistants (STAs) to Telecom Electricians (TEs).
Windhoek, Namibia – August 8, 2024 – Telecom Namibia and the Namibia Public Workers Union (NAPWU) today formalized a new era of cooperation with the signing of a Recognition and Procedural Agreement. The agreement, replacing a 25-year-old predecessor, establishes a modern framework for labour relations that aligns with the amendments in the Labour Act and the evolving needs of both parties.

Telecom Namibia, celebrating 32 years of service to the nation, proudly hosted the inauguration of the Telecom Namibia Equiano Cable Station, marking a historic occasion as they simultaneously activated their capacity on the Equiano subsea cable, which was commissioned by Google.
