Windhoek, 10 March 2020 – Contrary to the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) report, which was subsequently published by the media, Telecom Namibia has without fail provided its annual report for each financial year to the shareholder and stakeholders since inception in 1992.
The company has also during no period operated without a CEO, be it substantive or in an acting capacity. In line with policy, an Acting CEO has always been appointed.
All annual reports since Telecom Namibia’s inception in 1992 are available in printed format, while electronic versions dating back as far as 2002 are available on the Telecom Namibia website on https://www.telecom.na/annual-reports.

The most current annual report for the financial year 2017/2018, is a clear indication of Telecom Namibia’s commitment to the principles of good corporate governance and ensures shareholder interests are protected.
Since the establishment of Telecom Namibia in 1992, through an Act of Parliament Telecom Namibia can proudly boast a clean track record of continuous and timely published annual reports. This consistent practice ensures that we engage our stakeholders and keep them informed of our activities, success and challenges.
