The Infinitum Co-location service offer you a secure and managed environment where you can locate your equipment and servers. The ideal solution if you are running software from a central location or if you require a permanent presence on the Internet. By using the Co-location service, you eliminate the need for leased line connectivity between your equipment and the Infinitum IP backbone. This ensures high speed connectivity while at the same time lowering costs.
The Infinitum's Co-location service consists of the following service elements:
- Location of your equipment in Telecom Namibia's headquarters buildings (available per rack or rack-unit)
- Secure physical access to the Co-location facilities.
- Direct access to the IP backbone (no leased line necessary)
- Cooling, power supply and backup power supply.
- 24/7 first line support
If you have a need for extra security, the Infinitum Managed Firewall service is just what you need. It will protect your corporate systems and servers from intruders and can also provide extra protection in the form of encryption for corporate data that traverses the Internet. The Infinitum Managed Firewall service will further enable you to prevent improper usage of the Internet by your employees.
Infinitum offers two Managed Firewall services to meet your security needs and budget:
- Dedicated Managed Firewall service: the Firewall is assigned to you exclusively. Depending on your requirements, one or more than one Firewall (at different sites) can be installed.
- Shared Managed Firewall service: the Firewall is assigned to multiple customers, which results in a significantly lower price. The perfect solution if your budget is limited.
The Infinitum VPN allows you to enjoy the security of a private network via access control and encryption, while taking advantage of the economies of scale and built-in management facilities of the shared Infinitum IP backbone.
Infinitum provides an affordable means for setting up Virtual Private Networks and connecting you to Internet. With efficient traffic control mechanisms to eliminate bottlenecks at network access points we guarantee swift delivery of critical data, a service that is essential in today's complex computing business environment.
Speed and security levels can be fully configured to meet your needs.
The VPN service lets you manage controlled access to corporate resources and information, for both in-house and remote users. Infinitum can offer you three types of VPNs, or any combination of these VPNs:
- Intranet VPN
Allows your branch offices to connect to each other and to head quarters to share resources and information (LAN-to-LAN connections). - Extranet VPN
Connects your strategic partners, customers, and suppliers (business-to-business external connectivity) - Remote Access VPN
Allows your remote employees, mobile employees and sales force to access corporate information and the Internet from anywhere in the country through a dial-up connection. This allows them to work more efficiently, spend more time with your customers and in the end increase their productivity.
