In a landmark moment, the cover of the 2025 Directory features Her Excellency Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, Namibia’s First Female President. This historic feature not only celebrates her personal achievement but also symbolizes national empowerment, as her appointment on the 21st of March 2025, marks a new chapter for Namibia—one defined by inclusion, progress, and equal opportunity.
While officiating the launch of the 2025 National Directory, the Telecom Namibian CEO, Dr. Stanley Shanpinda, emphasized the importance of capturing historic moments on the Directory covers. “We are celebrating our First Female President, H.E. Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at Telecom Namibia. The idea is to encapsulate significant moments of a particular time in the Namibian history, with the hope that future generations will look back and appreciate these milestones. It is our intention that TN will continue to take the liberty to preserve and celebrate these moments. We envision that not only the 2025 publication, but also previous editions will outlive us all, serving as a lasting archive of our history,” he expressed himself.
