Windhoek, 27 October 2021 - Telecom Namibia is pleased to officially launch our 4G LTE Network, this coming Saturday, 30 October 2021, in Groot Aub.

TN customers in Groot Aub are in for a treat, as they will have an opportunity to purchase sim cards, smart routers, pocket Wifi’s, JIVA packages, Unlimited Hotspot and Speedlink packages and receive information on this premier 4G technology which will provide internet speeds never experienced before in Groot Aub. This development demonstrates Telecom Namibia’s commitment to bridging the digital divide and bringing services closer to all Namibians.

Residents of Groot Aub required to work and/or study online, can now do so from the comfort of their homes, and don’t need to commute to neighbour towns to access greater internet speeds.

Telecom Namibia’s Senior Manager: Marketing Strategy, Felicitas Kakoro-Gowases, said TN values innovation and embrace excellence in the services the company offers its customers. “We have made a huge effort to deliver unbeatable data packages, enhancing customer experience and we encourage Groot Aub residents to get onto the digital superhighway”.

Groot Aub customers will, effective 30 October 2021 enjoy TN 4G across a range of smart devices including 4G compatible smartphones and 4G hotspots. TN 4G will allow customers to experience uninterrupted entertainment in High Definition. This latest 4G upgrade, further cements TN’s commitment to invest in infrastructure upgrades that enables digital transformation and consistently enables a superior online experience for customers.
