New look iWay store opened, offering enhanced customer service & solutions
Telecom Namibia on Thursday opened its brand-new redesigned iWay Teleshop as a one-stop-shop for customers to experience new service levels and communications solutions.
The redesigned store is the third in a series of stores that Telecom Namibia will open around the country in its complete transformation drive that will enable it to service its customers in a friendly environment allowing for interactions with customers in an open plan set-up. The iWay store follows the opening of the flagship store at Grove Mall in 2018, followed by the Teleshop in Nkurenkuru officially launched in April this year.
These stores are part of Telecom Namibia’s broader plan of redesigning its outlets for an improved retail presentation of its products and services while introducing new technology and solutions that will boost the country’s telecommunications sector.
Interactive and revolutionary, and featuring the latest in digital technology, the iWay outlet will change the way customers shop for Telecom products and services. The store features cutting-edge mobile products and fixed broadband services aimed at enhancing the lives of customers and empowering individual communication needs.
The store also includes a customer care point where products and services can be purchased, a point where faults are reported, and another where customers can apply for new services, as well as a billing centre for services payments.
The initiative is an effort by Telecom Namibia to ensure that Teleshops are not just stores that stock products, but a place where the company demonstrate how technology can transform lives and businesses.
Speaking at the opening of the Teleshop, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Telecom Namibia, Calvin Muniswaswa said: “The modernistic retail store, which we are opening today, is a visual expression of the progressive outlook that Telecom Namibia believes in, embraces and advocates.”
“This Teleshop is also a modern reflection of the Telecom Namibia brand and aligns with the next-generation retail experience. Through these efforts, Telecom Namibia is focused on enhancing the customer service experience and enrich customer satisfaction,” he added.
Muniswaswa said with the reopening of the Teleshop, Telecom Namibia is reaffirming its commitment to provide superior solutions and experience to its customers. He then used the opportunity to invite customers to visit the newly opened Teleshop along independence avenue, in Windhoek’s central business district.
“At Telecom Namibia, we on a continuous basis review our product and service offerings to ensure we remain relevant to the market and that we are able to meet our customer demands with the right products at the right price. We take into consideration the ever-changing communication needs of our various customer segments and continue to employ the relevant technologies to address identified needs. This commitment extends to providing an improved atmosphere for greater interaction and dialogue with our customers,” Muniswaswa said.
