The TN Mobile CAF Women’s Championship, NAMIBIA 2014, kicks off at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Katutura on Saturday.

With barely two days to the start of the continental showpiece, TN Mobile, the mobile business of Telecom Namibia, wishes the Brave Gladiators good luck in their opening match with Zambia as the entire nation is behind them to win the trophy and book their ticket to next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

This beautiful trophy is desired by the best of African women football players. The trophy symbolises the speed, elegance, precision and teamwork of football – values which are the essence of the beautiful game of football. This trophy also represents the shared hopes and dreams of millions of people around Africa. And we cannot think of anything that unifies people as much, brings out the best, and shows our commonality, the common spirit of sportsmanship, the common spirit of competition, the common spirit of great athleticism.

We are confident that if the Brave Gladiators go out there and display the kind of football they have played during their 3-1 win over Algeria in a friendly, they can further unite this beautiful country in celebration of their victories. We are looking forward to seeing them playing in the Final.
