Switch is Telecom Namibia’s service that allows you to make and receive calls, send and receive sms’ and connect to the internet with a data package
Switch is provided through a superior and secure wireless access system based on CDMA technology
Switch has 3 distinct advantages:
- Superior voice quality
- Fast internet connectivity
- Cheaper call charges

Switch prepaid is Telecom Namibia’s pay as you go service
The biggest advantages are:
- reduces time to acquire the service
- no credit check
- no monthly bills
Switch prepaid has two call plans:
- Switch Time: rates are time based, i.e. peak, off-peak, off-off peak
- Switch Easy: same rate 24/7
Recharge voucher denominations available in:
- N$5, N$10, N$20 and N$30 =90 days validity period
- N$50, N$100, N$200 and N$30 =270 days validity period

Switch post paid allows you to make and receive calls, send and receive sms’ and connect to the internet with a data package and receive an account at the end of the month
Switch prepaid has various residential (Switchself) and business (SwitchBiz) packages available

With call forwarding, customers can keep existing fixed line number for 1 telephone directory cycle
No charges for the diverted portion, i.e. free
Reduced rates, i.e. standard fixed line rates which is cheaper than Switch call charges
Faster dial up speed, i.e. 153 kbits (1x data)

Switchbiz packages do include CPE, customized pricing
