Who may apply for this service?
- Customers who are cash payers and most likely to be temporary suspended.
- Customers who are frequently on temporary suspensions due to not making payments before due dates. It should be noted that it excludes those customers who still owe Telecom Namibia due to a previous contract.
- People who wish to have a telephone service but cannot get one due to their credit background (those who have been blacklisted or listed with a credit bureau). It should be noted that it excludes those customers who still owe Telecom Namibia due to a previous contract.
- Disconnected customers who have settled their accounts and do not currently have a service (maybe due to a high deposit/security fee). Existing security deposits are not to be refunded if customers convert to CallMaker.
- Customers who like to control their calls, especially customers who currently have Outgoing Call Barring (fixed & customer controlled). Existing customers who want to be more financially controlled can make use of this service. Customers that only have a limited budget for telephone calls can use this as an indication to control their telephone calls better.
- New residential customers who would like to have a prepaid telephone service as an option.
- Existing customers who do not want to pay rent at the end of the month.
