Telecom Namibia’s Faraway VSAT network is a transmission and switching network that automatically provides on-demand voice, fax and data interconnections via satellite for telephone subscribers, telephone exchanges, data applications (such as Internet browsing, LAN interconnections and video conferencing), and WLL and cellular base stations.

The Faraway VSAT network makes toll-quality voice, Internet and fax connections a daily reality, for remote and widely dispersed locations where terrestrial telephone and data services are unreachable, unreliable or too expensive to deploy.
