What are the service restrictions, limitations and business rules for the Dial Aw@y service?

  • Call Maker service should not be allowed on Dial Aw@y VSAT systems;
  • No call barring facilities should be activated on Dial Aw@y VSAT services (i.e. No incoming only should be allowed);
  • No TelePlus and Value-Added Services should be activated.
  • Upon application for Dial Aw@y service a site survey must be conducted at customer’s premises to ensure customer meets Dial Aw@y criteria.
  • When converting existing Magneto and Magnolia customers to Dial Aw@y service, normal Disconnection procedure should be followed first to disconnect the customer. When Disconnection service Order has been posted, a NEW Installation for Dial Aw@y service should be processed.
  • Existing Magneto and Magnolia customers converted to Dial Aw@y service can choose to have IP Port activated for Internet access purposes. Activation of IP Port is compulsory for new Dial Aw@y customers.
