The Caller ID service allows analogue subscribers to identify the caller before answering the CLI enabled fixed line phone by displaying the number of the calling party.

Target Market
The service is aimed at residential customers with analogue DEL’s (direct exchange lines). Business customers with DEL’s may also apply for the service.

Customers may obtain application form and applies for the service at their nearest Teleshop for service
activation. Otherwise, click here to download the online form.
Service Conditions
Caller ID enables the person receiving the call to have the number of the caller displayed. This is only possible if:
- Customer applies for the Caller ID service
- The customer has a CLI compatible telephone;
- The Telecom Namibia exchange (EWSD) serving the customer supports Caller ID
- Caller ID is not available to customers on the following access technologies:
- Ultraphone
- SOR 18
- Magnolia
- Small Digital Exchanges (SDE’s)
Furthermore, please note that Caller ID Restriction is also available. The Caller ID Restriction service prevents the caller’s number (A Party) from being displayed when calling B Party.
