To celebrate Namibia’s independence and the start of the Switch Mobile road-show, Namibia’s number one broadband and telecommunications service provider Telecom Namibia today announced another exciting free activation offer for all its post-paid mobile 3G-EVDO broadband services to all new customers.

According to Telecom Namibia, the mobile 3G-EVDO Broadband activation charge of N$185 is waived off for all new service activations and the offer is valid till 31 May 2010.

Telecom Namibia’s basic Broadband Plans with speeds of up to 3100kbps starts from N$289 a month for the entry level package, while the Premium Broadband Plan is priced at N$999 with unlimited internet usage facility.

Recently Telecom Namibia has doubled the volumes allocated to their post-paid packages at exactly the same monthly charge. This offer has been extended till 31 May 2010.

In addition to the above offer, all prepaid and postpaid 3G-EVDO customers enjoy out of bundle usage at an incredibly reduced rate of only 25 cents per MegaByte (MB). This offer has been extended till 31 May 2010.

In the meantime, Telecom Namibia has enhanced its 3G-EVDO pre-paid package by increasing the once-off data volume 11-fold, from the standard 100MB once-off to 1100MB included with 3G-EVDO device at N$649.

A FREE activation of mobile broadband services requires a 24 month contract, but will normally provide a free USB modem bundled with value added services and now free activation (for new broadband users).
